Tanner Thomson

Another acquisition made by the New England Black Wolves just before the season came to a halt, Tanner Thomson will be making his NLL debut this season, now with the Albany FireWolves.  The Ontario native attended Marquette University and made a name for himself early on in his collegiate career. In his sophomore season in 2016, Thomson was named to the All-BIG EAST Championship Team after scoring six goals in two tournament wins. During his senior season in 2019, Thomson was named All-BIG East First Team and won BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week honors twice.  Thomson led the team with 26 goals and had a total of 38 points.

Thomson was drafted 16^th overall in the 2019 NLL Draft by the Saskatchewan Rush. He was then traded to the New England Black Wolves just before the season was unfortunately stopped, preventing him to see any game action.
