The Wings are committed to growing the game of lacrosse in our community through various youth and grassroots initiatives. Through Sticks for Students, a free assembly program, we hope to introduce the sport to new future players, fans, or even members of the front office staff.

The Program:

Sticks for Students includes a presentation with a Jeopardy-style game show for students to learn and get engaged. The game show gets students involved in healthy activities like stretching and a relay competition, while also covering topics on health and lacrosse.

The program features the Wings mascot, Wingston, current Wings players, and staff members.

Each location participating will receive:

• A complete set of equipment for a full PE class including: 4 pop-up goals, 40 sticks, 40 balls, and 40 reversible pinnies.
• The lead instructor at each program will also receive a manual full of lacrosse drills, a video demonstrating the skills needed to teach lacrosse from Wings players, and the contact information for a Wings staff member who will be able to provide any additional information and answer any questions that might arise.
