PHILADELPHIA WINGS LAUNCH THE WINGS LACROSSE ACADEMY

REGISTER TODAY FOR SUMMER PRORAMS AT WINGSLAX.COM/WLA

Philadelphia, PA (May 23, 2018) – The Philadelphia Wings announced the launch of the Wings Lacrosse Academy, a program for youth of all ages that will be run out of the Wings Training Center in Voorhees, NJ.

The Wings Lacrosse Academy will focus on skill building, fun, and interactive lacrosse designed to further the devolvement of the younger lacrosse generation. The mission of the Academy is to expose both beginners and current players to the world of box lacrosse. The skills taught within the courses will not only enhance box lacrosse knowledge and skills, but also help advance the skills used in field lacrosse.

“Under the leadership of the esteemed coaches, ranging from qualified college and professional players, the Wings Lacrosse Academy will accommodate players of all skill levels,” said Lindsey Masciangelo, Executive Director of Business Operations for the Philadelphia Wings. “This is a great opportunity to help beginners wanting to learn more about the fastest sport on two feet while at the same time educating the more advanced players looking to separate themselves. Our goal is to create a fun and educational environment in which young boys and girls leave with a love of the sport.”

Registration is up in running for various programs throughout the 2018 summer. To enroll today visit Wings Academy. Season ticket memberships are also currently on sale now through the team’s new website, www.wingsLAX.com or by calling 215-952-LAX1, and include exclusive benefits such as team access and events. Fans can also follow the team @NLLWings to receive behind the scenes information as the team prepares to start it’s nine game home season at the Wells Fargo Center in December of this year.
