The Wings fell short in the second half of their home opener against the Albany Firewolves on December 16th to fall to 1-2 on the season. The first half was a closely contested matchup as the teams scored 3 goals each in the first and second quarter. Coming out of the locker room at the start of the 3rd quarter tied at 6-6, the Wings only scored 1 goal to Albany’s 6, and the deficit was too much to overcome as the Wings fell 15-10 to the Firewolves.
