Wings Re-Sign Holden Cattoni

Today, the Wings announced that they have signed forward Holden Cattoni to a 3 year contract. Cattoni (29) has scored 161 goals and recorded 229 assists in his six NLL seasons (3.97 points per game). His high level of production offensively in the NLL didn’t slow down this offseason, where he led Canada’s Major Series Lacrosse in scoring with 106 points in 23 games, edging out the likes of former NLL MVP Lyle Thompson and Austin Stats of the San Diego Seals.

Cattoni will be another offensive weapon to add to Jeff McComb’s arsenal as the Wings look to take the next step towards a deep playoff run this season. A potential Wings powerplay with the likes of Ben McIntosh, Joe Resetarits, Mitch Jones, Holden Cattoni, and Blaze Riorden would be a headache for defenses around the NLL.

Holden will also be playing with his younger brother, Taite Cattoni, who is entering his second season with the Wings. The Cattoni brothers and the rest of the Wings squad will be in Philly to get the season started with training camp in the first week of November.
