PHILADELPHIA (December 1, 2021) – Today, the Wings are excited announce a dual local  broadcast partnership with NBC Sports Philadelphia and WPHL/PHL17. Combined with the national broadcast schedule announced earlier by ESPN & the National Lacrosse League, the new partnership deals mark the first time in team history where the entirety of the Wings 2021-2022 regular season schedule will be televised live. Amongst the two networks, NBC Sports Philadelphia and PHL17 will combine to televise 15 of the Philadelphia Wings’ 18 regular season games, with the remaining three to be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.

“We are excited for this landmark moment in franchise history. These new partnerships represent an unprecedented level of exposure for our players and partners, and will give our fans more opportunity than ever before to follow the team throughout the season,” said Marc Zamarin, President of the Philadelphia Wings. “I want to thank our tremendous partners at both NBC Sports Philadelphia and PHL17 for their belief and support of the Wings, and cannot wait for fans, both new and old, to watch the Wings.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to broadcast Wings games to the Philadelphia region as the they return to action for the 2021-2022 season,” said Brian Monihan, President & General Manager of NBC Sports Philadelphia. We look forward to working with the Wings organization and providing fans with full access to Wings games both at home and on the road.”

“We are thrilled to bring the Wings back to broadcast television,” said Vince Giannini, Vice President and General Manager PHL17. “We look forward to once again providing our viewers with the excitement of Wings Lacrosse.”

Wings fans will see and hear from a familiar trio on home game broadcasts this season. In the booth, Brian Smith returns to call Wings games as the Play-by-Play announcer. Alongside Smith, providing insights and analysis of the action will be former Wings captain and five-time NLL champion Scott Gabrielsen. Smith and Gabrielson will be joined by Devan Kaney who will provide in-game updates and interviews from her position as Floor Reporter.
