The Wings 2022-2023 roster features a strong core of elite contributors bolstered by some key additions made during the off-season. Key returners include Philadelphia-native Matt Rambo, Trevor Baptiste, Ben McIntosh, and Kyle Jackson.
Rambo, a graduate of LaSalle College High School, registered 54 points (21g, 33a) for the Wings last season along with a hat trick in the Wings’ playoff matchup against San Diego. Last season Baptiste won 304 face-offs surpassing the 900 milestone of his career and is coming off a strong summer campaign where he was named the Premier Lacrosse League’s Jim Brown Most Valuable Player. McIntosh led the Wings offense with 31 goals and surpassed 200 career assists, and after joining the Wings offense in March of last season, Jackson provided 26 points (10g, 16a) in six games, plus two goals in the Wings’ playoff game against San Diego.
In the pursuit of assembling a championship-caliber roster, the Wings were aggressive in free agency signing Joe Resetarits and Chad Tutton. Resetarits joins the Wings after leading the league last season in goals (47) and finishing third in points (111) en route to being named First Team All-League for the first time in his career and the first American-born player to make the list since 2010. The Wings also bolstered their defense with the signing of Tutton. Last season with the Georgia Swarm, Tutton eclipsed 100 caused turnovers in his career and collected over 100 loose balls. He will be reunited with teammates Kiel Matisz, John Ranagan, and Alex Crepinsek whom alongside Tutton won the NLL Championship in 2017.
