NLL Announces Home Openers for the 2018-19 Season

Philadelphia, Georgia, and Calgary will headline the 33rd Faceoff Weekend

Philadelphia, November 28, 2018 – The National Lacrosse League (NLL), the largest men’s indoor professional league, has released its revised 2018-2019 home opener details for each of the teams.

The NLL’s 33rd season will begin as the Philadelphia Wings face off for their inaugural game at 1:00pm ET when they welcome the Buffalo Bandits to the Wells Fargo Center. The Georgia Swarm and Calgary Roughnecks will also play at home Saturday evening at 7:05pm ET and 9:00pm ET, respectively.

“We are thrilled to get back to playing lacrosse and open the 2018-19 season,” said NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz. “With the addition of our new broadcast partners, Turner Sports and B/R Live, we will continue to bring the best lacrosse in the world to our fans across North America and we couldn’t ask for a better opening game than Philadelphia hosting Buffalo in their inaugural season.”
